Max is a little shy around new people; but will soon warm up.  He is a very sweet big boy and very much a love bug.  He is completely house trained with great manners.  Max needs a fairly quiet home with no small children as the high energy of toddlers make him nervous.  He loves his walks and does well on a leash.  Max pretty much ignores cats and does fine with other dogs but he doesn't like them in his face. He does play chase with Princess and only corrects her when she plays too rough. He loves his soccer ball and will run after it and pounce on it. He, like most Mastiffs, will not bring it back.
Most of all, Max loves to lay on the couch with his head on your lap!
