Jackson is a fawn Mastiff approximately 2 years old. He is a very happy, playful boy, but unfortunately he has been diagnosed with heart worm, a completely preventable disease.  He will be in foster with Mastiff Rescue Oregon until he can be medically cleared to go to his forever home. 

UPDATE

Jackson is ready to go to his forever home.  His foster family says that he is a happy, friendly boy.  He gets along with all dogs, is fine with cats, and also living with a parrott.

He will only go to a home that will continue his heartworm treatment.  He requires medication to be given orally every other week for 6 months.  Jackson will then need to be rechecked for heart worm at the end of the 6 months.  He will have to be on heartworm preventative for the rest of his life.
