Hi,
My name is Luger. I am a senior apricot male Mastiff. I have been with my family since I was 6 weeks old and today they left me with a nice lady; but she is not my family. Right now I am very confused.
I have lived with children, cats and other dogs. I pretty much like everyone that I meet. My foster mom says that I am a very special needs boy because I can't see very well. I have night blindness so I need a very special home with a buddy to help me around. My foster mom takes me out to potty at night with a flashlight so that I can see where to go.
Luger, or Lucas as his foster family is calling him, has spent his days outside only being inside at night. His forever home will need to be a soft, warm place to spend the rest of his life. He will only go to a home with very few stairs for him to go up and down. He does very well with stairs but due to his vision problems, he has very little depth perception.
Lucas is a very charming, happy boy. He is a very talky boy! He will let you know when he wants something, from getting a love, to being let outside, to wanting a treat.
If you are that special person that will give Lucas his new "forever" home, please contact:
mastiffrescue@comcast.net for more information on the boy and his requirements.
