11/08/02 - 4/04/12 He loved to go into my daughter's bedroom and sneak a stuffy or 2. He never destroyed them, just like to chew on them a little bit. Hercules was the true definition of a "gentle giant"! He had a very kind soul and still loved to chase is tail at about 8:00 every night. He will be truly missed by our family. Mauzzie
Mauzzie: October 4, 2002 – March 15, 2012 We rescued Mauzzie in March 2006, and she was a member of our family for 6 years. She was incredibly stubborn! She was also joyful and loving, and she wanted nothing more than to be in the same place with her people. While she had numerous health and behavioral challenges throughout her life with us, we loved her dearly. She took care of us, and we took care of her. She loved living so much, and she was so stubborn that we often joked that she would live forever. She ended her battle with hemolytic anemia in March 2012. She survived the illness for 4 months, and even when it was hardest, she still chose to enjoy her life. We were blessed to have her in our lives, and she will remain lovingly in our memories. Thanks so much for giving us a place to share something about her. We loved her, and still love her, very much.

Snuggles
Snugglebugs came into Rescue a very obese little girl. She was infected with parasites and had heart worm. Snuggles was pretty much a puppy mill girl and had been bred to death. She stayed with us for 1 year, 3 weeks, and 3 days before she found her "forever" home with Drew and Jenny. Before she left, she had lost nearly 50 lbs and was heart worm free.
